Blue Venture development

ORA funds, catalyses, leads and scales innovative blue ventures that restore kelp forests through kina removal with viable revenue streams, build high-value scallop aquaculture that replenishes wild fisheries, and unlock nature finance to accelerate ocean restoration at scale.

Training for reef and scallop restoration

Upskilling marine operators in data collection for reef and scallop restoration, building workforce development and support for blue entrepreneurs, young people and ocean farmers.

Measuring what matters

Divers, drones, satellites and ROVs track reef recovery from seabed to surface. This layered approach lets us track how reefs respond, where life is returning, and how restoration efforts are translating into measurable ecological recovery.
